When you need a refill, call your pharmacy. Pharmacies will be able to tell immediately if you have additional refills available on your current prescription and fill it on the spot. They can also tell you if your prescription benefit plan will cover your prescription. If all refills have been used, your pharmacist will send your physician an electronic refill request. This request goes straight to your physician's desk top and gets to doctor faster than calling the physician's office.
